Daniel Perry: Graduate Research Assistant
While working in the Morel Lab, my main area of research was congenic dissection of murine lupus susceptibility loci to identify the genetic causes of autoimmunity.
Currently, my research is identification of the pathogenic mechanisms conferred by human autoimmune susceptibility loci. Human immunophenotyping to identify biomarkers of disease states, as well as to characterize the normal behavior of immune subsets throughout the day, year, and lifetime. Understanding the interplay between the dynamic metabolic states and functions of immune cells.
